Accomodi is built to work without accounts or logins. This page explains the little data we do collect and why.
What we collect
We collect an email address only when you explicitly request a full report — it's used solely to send your magic access link and isn't sold or shared with third parties. Anonymous feedback you submit is stored alongside the postcode you were viewing, with no account or identity attached.
Cookies & local storage
We use a small LOCALE cookie to remember your language choice. Your daily free-search count (20/day) is tracked entirely in your browser's local storage — it never leaves your device and we have no way to see it.
Search analytics
Every postcode search increments an aggregate counter for that postcode (search_count, report_requests). These counters are anonymous and are never linked to an individual visitor, IP address, or session.
Site analytics
We also use a privacy-first analytics service to see aggregate traffic trends — things like which pages get visited and roughly how many people are visiting. It doesn't use cookies, can't track you across other websites, and never collects anything that identifies you personally.
What we don't do
No advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking pixels, no reselling of your data. Full report requests can be revoked at any time by emailing us — see the Contact page.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold (in practice: your email address, if you've requested a report). Contact us and we'll act within 30 days.

Where does this data come from?
We strictly use official, verified public open data provided by the Central Bureau for Statistics (CBS), the Cadaster (Kadaster), and the Dutch National Police (Politie), plus community-mapped amenity data from OpenStreetMap. No commercial bias, no scraped fluff. Just cold, hard civic analytics mapped to your prospective doorstep.
